About Me
I won my first competition in 1967, and also competed as a professional. The most exciting competition was in 1974 when I was placed 1st in Latin at the Asian Pacific Championships. I completed my first Professional Degree in 1982 and completed them all in all styles in 1988.I was examined by Margaret Reeve from Australia for my Fellowship in 1989. In July 1989 I was made a B grade examiner and in 1990 I achieved an A grade Examiner. I am a fully qualified British trained Scrutineer and my qualifications include being an A grade examiner and Adjudicator. I have taught many well known Athletes, Wrestlers, Swimmers, and Foot ball personnel.

- Honoured Life Member of Convington Who's Who.
- Adjudicated for the Senior World of Dance-sport Championships.
- Life member with The New Zealand Federal Association of Teachers of Dance.
- Member of the World Dance Council (WDC).
About My Studio
I took over the Robinson School of Dance in 1977 and built it up to what it is today. I teach all styles of dance Standard (Ballroom), Latin, New Vogue, Classical Sequence, Social Dancing, Weddings, Medals and Competition. I moved from my old studio in Princess Street to Carroll Street 2007. Most lessons are 1/2hr long and I am licensed to play recorded music through PPNZ music licensing
I teach clients from the age of 6 to 90 years of age and have a group of loyal clients.
